Nari Chetna Sangthan (NCS), established in 1992 in Sonepat, Haryana, works for welfare of vulnerable children, youth, and women through education, rehabilitation, and community-based initiatives. Its objectives include spreading literacy, running institutions, promoting vocational training, advocating for women’s rights, and improving health, environment, and livelihood. In 2022–23, NCS formed 22 women’s Self Help Groups, trained over 3,900 individuals across 50+ vocational courses, and organized awareness campaigns on consumer rights, AIDS, dowry eradication,polio, and environmental conservation. Through partnerships with Jan Shikshan Sansthan and PM Kaushal schemes, it emphasized skill development and entrepreneurship. Additional programs promoted gender equality, RTI awareness, Panchayati Raj participation, and de-addiction, uplifting marginalized communities socially, economically, and culturally.
